01 · Web, mobile & MCP
A family-scoped budgeting system built around a Laravel API, React web app, Expo-based React Native mobile app, generated TypeScript SDK, read-only public API, and MCP server.
The project started as a shared household budget and grew into a multi-client system: a Laravel domain and API, a React web app, an Expo-based React Native app targeting iOS and Android, an OpenAPI-generated TypeScript SDK, a family-bound read-only public API, and a scoped MCP server.
The core constraints are explicit. Money is stored as integer cents, every financial record is family-scoped, projections use the family’s local time, and multi-step financial updates remain atomic.
Personal noteI use this project to explore how one careful domain can support very different interfaces without drifting into separate products.

The React web app and Expo-based React Native mobile app use the same family-scoped Laravel API through the generated TypeScript SDK.
Google and Apple sign-in, OAuth, a family-bound read-only API for Home Assistant and personal dashboards, and scoped MCP tools.
